French manufacturer Renault announced that Arkana, which has been on sale in Russia for about two years, will enter the European market in 2021. This month the company Renault Arkana will start to receive the first orders for The price of the car starts from 29,700 euros.
The version of Renault Arkana to be sold on the European market is the company’s modular CMF-B was built on the platform. The platform in question also constitutes the infrastructure of the new Clio and Captur models. In addition, Arkana’s twin XM3, which is sold in South Korea with the Samsung logo – some Renault models are sold with the Samsung logo in this country – also uses the platform. The Arkana model, which is on sale in Russia, is rising on the B0 + platform in Duster.
Details of Renault Arkana, which will be sold in Europe, were announced about five months ago. The coupe-SUV model can only be preferred with the hybrid system in this market. In the system called E-TECH Hybrid, the 91-horsepower 1.6-liter four-cylinder gasoline unit is powered by two electric motors: a 48-hp e-engine and a 20-hp integrated starter generator. Thus, this system, which produces 145 horsepower in total, is designed to operate in pure electric mode up to 80 percent in city driving, according to Renault’s statement.
In the European version of Renault Arkana, there are two other options called micro-hybrid. These systems, based on a 1.3-liter TCe turbo gasoline engine, have an integrated starter generator combined with an EDC dual clutch gearbox and a 12V lithium-ion battery. While the entry-level micro-hybrid options in Arkana produce 140 horsepower, there is also a 160 horsepower option in the upper tier. According to the French brand, this system provides fuel savings of up to 8 percent.

Renault Arkana, which will be available in three different trim levels in Europe, will look sportier with the RS Line equipment at the top. The coupe SUV model, which is announced as 200 mm from the ground, has a ceiling height of 862 mm for the rear passengers despite its sloping roof. In addition, Arkana’s luggage volume is also 513 litre as announced. This value drops to 480 liters in the E-TECH Hybrid version.
Renault Arkana has a digital display screen that varies in size between 4, 7 and 10 inches, depending on the preferred equipment level.
