Disney Plus has made a quick introduction to the streaming world, and does not lose its momentum. Making some statements about the latest state of the service today, Disney CEO Bob Chapek announced that the 100 million subscriber threshold has been left behind.

Disney Plus’s number of subscribers finally reached 95 million on January 1. It was around 87 million on 2 December before Christmas. After rising rapidly at Christmas, the speed of the platform seems to have slowed down a little with the new year.

Disney wants to bring Disney Plus service to more countries in 2021. Many different countries, including South Korea, Hong Kong, and Eastern Europe, will get Disney Plus this year. Service is expected to come to Turkey in 2021 but does not have an official statement.
