The Witcher, one of the popular Netflix series, will return to the screens with its second season very soon. Making some statements about the new season today, Netflix announced the seven new actors and characters that will join the cast.

When we look at the announced list, we see names such as Dijsktra, Phillippa Eilhart and Codringher and Fenn, who are among the popular characters of The Witcher world. The character of Dijsktra is played by Graham McTavish, who we know from Hobbit movies and Uncharted games.

The Witcher’s season 2 shootings began in early 2020. Afterwards, the shooting was stopped due to the oandemic and started again in August. The actors above were the last names Netflix announced, but last year it was also announced that actors such as Kristofer Hivju (Nivellen) and Kim Bodnia (Vesemir) also joined the cast.
In the new season, we will be watching the trio of Henry Cavill (Geralt), Anya Chalotra (Yennefer) and Freya Allan (Ciri) in the leading roles. Geralt and Ciri, who finally met at the end of the first season, will go to Kaer Morhen, where Geralt grew up. In season two, Ciri’s warrior personality will begin to emerge gradually.
