The increase in the variety of hybrid models sold in our country plays a major role in this rise, because the majority of the “electric and hybrid” vehicles actually belong to hybrid (mild hybrid, hybrid, rechargeable hybrid) vehicles.

Electric vehicles, on the other hand, are not yet preferred due to high sales prices and lack of infrastructure. While this situation affects the purchasing decision of the consumers, it causes the brands to act hesitant about bringing their electric models to our country.

On the other hand, as of 2021, the variety of electric models in our country started to increase. However, this time, there has been an increase of up to 400 percent in the SCT rates applied to electric cars in recent months. Moreover, it is rumored that the ratio in the upper segment will increase again, but this is just a rumor.
